JCM - 36th International Students’ Conference for Dialogue between Jews, Christians and Muslims in Europe
16th – 22nd March 2009
JCM is not an organisation but a voluntary project, for which an interreligious and intercultural team, in cooperation with funding organisations from all three religions, is responsible. The team is sensitive to the specific needs of each of the religious communities and seeks to ensure the equal participation of all three religions.
This week long residential programme held in Germany includes a range of opportunities for interpersonal exchange, creative groups and lectures which throw light on the guiding theme from the three different perspectives. Experiencing, getting to know and the meeting of the three religions will be facilitated, for example, through celebrating worship in the different traditions. The background and liturgical elements will be explained in an understandable way.
Target group includes students, teachers, youth workers as well as all those interested in, and actively committed to, dialogue between the three religions.
